This is a beautiful smocked daygown in a gorgeous floral chintz fabric. It has great body with a little sheen, and washes up beautifully. The size will fit a 3 month to probably a 12 month child. This is such a sweet daygown. I found a beautiful cotton sheet in an antique store and it was in perfect condition....I had the idea of making a baby daygown and it turned out perfectly. It's very durable and the roses are gorgeous. I've added 8 rows of pintucking down front of dress and it has a peter-pan collar with long sleeves. It buttons down the back with 4 buttons. Dress length is 25", sleeve length 7", and band around bottom of sleeve measures 6". Lacy - Sweet rosebud daygown in cotton with matching bonnet. Daygown buttons down front with 6 buttons and lace on each side of placket. It also has beautiful box pleats under arms and in the back of dress. Top bodice is smocked and I have added hand-embroidered bullion rosebuds in the smocking. Short puff sleeves has a pink band with lace edging. Bottom of daygown is trimmed with matching lace. The bonnet is also smocked and has the rosebuds and lace as well. It is adjustable in the back and has organza ties both in back and sides. This is such a beautiful daygown and bonnet and it feels so soft.
