I have many passions of work and what I call fun and fulfillment.  Through Dolly Tillett Designs I offer my passions to you. Airbrush  Makeup, Eyelash Extensions, Handmade Silk Veils and Children's Heirloom Clothing are my specialties. All crafted or applied with great care and attention to detail to ensure your day is special. 

Let me begin with the Airbrush Makeup. I was certified in 2005 in Chicago, IL by Dina Ousley, inventor, co-founder and president of ‘Dinair’…the leading company in airbrush makeup. It was so exciting to work with Dina Ousley and her expertise is phenomenal. What a wonderful and creative woman! She founded Dinair over 30 years ago and has stayed on the cutting-edge when it comes to airbrush makeup. Click on Airbrush Makeup to the right for further information.

Second, I was also certified in Miami, FL in 3-D Lashes. These classes were very extensive and we had lots of fun applying lashes to one another, until we “got it right”! This is a very tedious procedure, yet one which I thoroughly enjoy and particularly the satisfaction which follows when my customer first takes a look at herself in the mirror once the lashes are applied. They are thrilled. The lashes are applied one by one to get a more natural look. No need for mascara, although you may apply a light coat on the tips if you would like. Third, I enjoy creating and designing bridal veils, using either 100% silk or silk illusion in white or ecru. I also use imported alencon and chantilly lace with the option of adding pearls, sequins and/or swarvorski crystals. Every one lends its own character and charm and is an heirloom in itself. My fourth passion is designing and making Christening gowns from fabulous fabrics, laces and smocking. Many brides choose to have their babies Christening Gowns made from their bridal gown...how exquisite and special!  I make daygowns, bonnets, blankets, quilts, bibs…..you name it…I’ll make it! I love the old time french sewing techniques and enjoy designing my items, making each one exclusive. Most christening gowns are custom order, although I try to keep some on site for your viewing.  Due to the enormous array of fabrics, ideas, laces and choices, I prefer the customer speak with me personally to help design the perfect gown for them.
